Yes - we had a small gathering here....very small....We were all in all 6-7

How ever it was really nice "quiet and focused"! We weren't even all there at
the same time...and no one knew what we were doing. I don't know if that was
the way it was supposed to be. But I really liked this understated and modest
hommage to culture. It was moving in a very very sad (European) way. I drew
lot of Assyrian curls, sort of ornamental. And I spent the time contemplating
on cultural fragility and inertia.....And how I dislike political rhetorics.
My good friend Al Masson wrote hundreds of little notes with "Gilgamesh loves
Enkido"......from the ancient Babylonian epic. It is documented on video (not
digital). And a friend of mine is coming to New York quite soon. He can bring
the tape (unedited I think) for you if you want.
I am very glad that your project gave me a language of protest....If you
understand what I mean.
